Standard screens

A standard screen has fixed side guides, but are also available with tensioned steel wire to act as a guide for the fabric. This type is less suitable when used at higher altitudes such as apartment blocks as strong winds can cause the bottom bar to flap.

Screens with bottom bar lock

This type of screen has a metal bottom bar that will lock into the side guide when closed. This is called a 'windproof' screen. Ideal in high wind scenarios to prevent flapping of the bottom bar.

Zip screens

These are screens that have a type of zipper on both sides that ensures the screen cloth is always evenly tensioned. This type of outdoor screen is ideal for both low and high-wind applications.
